Q: On what types of welding can the XVC-O be used?

A: The XVC-O Camera system has been tested for use on a variety of welding processes including GMAW (MIG/MAG) short-circuit and spray, GTAW (TIG), Plasma, Fiber Laser, CO2 Laser, Hybrid MIG/Laser, Tandem TIG, Stick. In addition, the system has been tested on pulsed welding processes across a frequency range of 0-2000 Hz.

Q: What does the system include?

A: The standard educational package includes one camera, a 20 m cable, a camera mounting arm, a PC based HMI monitor, an air preparation kit and two spare windows. A second camera can be added to the system so that two views of the weld process can be acquired and displayed simultaneously.
